Xsolis was recently honored by the Nashville Technology Council with two prestigious awards at the 2025 NTC Awards — Technology Company of the Year and Innovation Initiative of the Year (for Dragonfly). The event was held at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, and attendees had a terrific backdrop of the city’s evolving skyline – a visual reminder that Nashville and its talent base have grown tremendously in the last decade.
While artificial intelligence (AI) developments were a prevalent theme among finalists and winners, it was a full-circle moment for Xsolis, who pioneered the use of AI to solve healthcare’s complex problems back in 2013, before the technology was as ubiquitous as it is today.

Nashville is good company for innovators
Did you know Nashville is home to over 46,000 engineers and IT specialists? And that Middle Tennessee has seen at least double-digit tech job growth over the past five years? With companies like Amazon, Dell, and Oracle putting down roots, alongside the over 900 healthcare organizations that call Nashville home, it is especially meaningful to be recognized among our area peers!
These NTC Awards highlight Xsolis’ transformative work in leveraging AI to address some of the healthcare industry’s most pressing challenges.
As the healthcare landscape continues to evolve, driven by factors such as revenue pressures, staffing shortages, burnout, and administrative inefficiencies, the need for innovative solutions has never been greater. Xsolis has risen to this challenge, developing the next generation of its industry-leading AI platform, Dragonfly, to empower providers and payers to work more collaboratively and efficiently.
Best of all, the company-level NTC Awards — which Xsolis brought home in the form of guitars (“you’re so Nashville if …”) — highlight the resilience, #ClientPassionate nature, and #AlwaysCurious dynamic of our entire team. We aim to #DeliverExcellence because the healthcare industry and the clients we serve deserve nothing less, setting new standards with payer-provider collaboration to create more frictionless healthcare together.
Technology Company of the Year
The Technology Company of the Year award recognized Xsolis’ track record, providing innovative solutions to some of the nation’s largest health systems and health plans in a unique way — around two-thirds of Xsolis’ provider clients are connected to health plans, reducing friction and fostering collaboration where it didn’t exist before — but also the company’s unwavering dedication to cultivating a positive and inclusive work culture. With a focus on professional development, employee wellbeing, and equity, Xsolis has built a team committed to delivering exceptional value to its clients.

Innovation Initiative of the Year
Xsolis’ Dragonfly platform, which was honored as the Innovation Initiative of the Year, represents a significant leap forward in healthcare AI. By synthesizing clinical and financial data, Dragonfly’s predictive analytics continuously determine the most appropriate level of care for each patient, streamlining utilization management, case management, and revenue cycle processes. The platform’s highly extensible architecture results in an improved user experience for payers and providers that:
- Enables generative AI solutions alongside the platform’s predictive AI
- Provides more opportunities for integration with other native systems
- Enhances AI-driven length of stay management
- These improvements drive more efficiency and cost savings for healthcare organizations.

Practical, proven AI for meaningful change
The impact of Xsolis’ AI-driven innovation is significant — and growing. To date, the company has processed over 300 million encounters, generating 2.9 billion predictions to help determine appropriate levels of care. Xsolis’ clients have collectively saved over $1.5 billion, with an average lifetime return on investment of 11.3x.
As the healthcare industry navigates an increasingly complex landscape, the need for AI-driven solutions has never been more critical. And Dragonfly’s extended capabilities to help our clients create frictionless healthcare in additional areas like length of stay, care management, and revenue integrity, better equip our customers to continue transforming the healthcare industry, one use case at a time.
Thank you to our clients, for their leadership during challenging times, and their continued trust during the innovation journey; to our team for their grit and dedication with over a decade developing industry-leading solutions; and to the Nashville Technology Council for this amazing recognition.
AI and other advanced technologies can’t solve all of the industry’s complicated problems. But together, we can create a more human-centered, efficient, and collaborative healthcare system that is more resilient as we look toward the future.
