Why this executive left the nation’s largest for-profit healthcare provider to join a health tech startup

Zach Evans is no stranger to Nashville’s vibrant healthcare sector. A strategic thinker and an executive with a knack for elevating the teams, companies, and individuals he serves to even greater heights, Zach has spent his career seeking to create and deliver technology and innovation that change how healthcare is delivered.

A veteran executive of startup, early-stage, and established companies in the healthcare sector, Zach served as Senior Director of Information Technology & Services for TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville and Chief Information Officer of CareHere, among other leadership positions. Most recently, Zach served as AVP, Technology of Case Management and Performance Improvement for HCA, the nation’s largest for-profit healthcare provider. Tasked with providing direction, support and accountability for a team that encompassed providers nationwide, Zach was instrumental in increasing quality, standardizing processes, and laying the foundation for initiatives that impacted case management operations within the organization.

After discovering Xsolis as a part of a performance improvement initiative, Zach was captivated by how Joan and the Xsolis team sought to disrupt the status quo within healthcare through emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and predictive analytics. “My first exposure to Xsolis was eye-opening. The energy, passion, and mindset the XSOLIS team brings to innovation is something I aligned with from the start,” Zach shared.  “I’ve had the opportunity to work with organizations both large and small across my career, I was immediately drawn by the impact I knew I could have at Xsolis, and the impact Xsolis will have on the discipline of case management.”

Zach’s expertise in Case Management operations at the enterprise level will prove to be invaluable to Xsolis’ current and future clients, lending him clarity into specific needs and opportunities within organizations, and the prowess necessary to ensure delivery and implementation goes smoothly for Xsolis’ expanding network of hospitals and health systems across the nation.
